Community Garden
Registration for 2024 season begins November 2nd for current renters and November 15th, 2023 for Montrose Residents.
Registration for non-residents begins on April 1st 2024. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Each plot is approximately 20'X20'.
The City of Montrose supports community gardens. Our community garden location off of Aspen Lane and Arapahoe Lane is available to residents each year as a means to provide the opportunity to grow their own produce.
The 2024 fee for each 20’ x 20’ garden plot is $40.00, plus a $100.00 deposit per plot that is refundable at the end of the season if the gardener/resident completely cleans out their plot.
The $40.00 plot reservation fee and $100.00 cash deposit are due at the time of registration. If the gardener/resident does not COMPLETELY clear out their plot at the end of the season, they will no longer be allowed to rent a garden plot from the City of Montrose.
Plots are given on a first come basis. To reserve your plot please stop by city hall to fill out an application.

Hold Harmless Clause:
All participants must sign necessary waivers required by the City of Montrose prior to planting.
The City reserves the right to close the Community Garden if necessary with proper notification to all gardeners.
